- KAL is responsible for the design and production including design bugs and production yield
- This model can start form ASIC SPEC to Production or RTL/Netlist to Production
- COT (Customer Own Tooling) model
- The customer owned the design database and the mask set
- This model start form ASIC SPEC up to production, RTL/Netlist up to production or GDSII up to production
